My favorite night sky memory is sitting in the backseat of the 4 door car and leaning my head back on the flat area between the seat and window. I loved to watch the sky go by as we'd drive down the road.

I have many memories of looking at the night sky with my dad, but I think my favorite one is a night on Maui back in 1978. We were visiting my grandparents and my dad showed me the Southern Cross. That was an awesome night.

We were camping and I was in my early teens. My dad sat with me on a bench and we were looking at the night sky and we were talking about the constellations and then about growing up. I don't remember exactly what was said, but it was a special time with my dad.
ReplyDeleteI have always loved space! This would be so awesome to share with my children. Thanks!

ReplyDeleteMy favorite night time memory? My boyfriend (now husband) and I climbing on top of a roof to stargaze for hours.

A couple of weeks ago we watched the space station cross our sky. Then the children spent time finding all the things Daddy has shown them in the sky.

One of my favorite memories is being at our summer cottage in Canada. We were far removed from all the city lights and could see amazing stars.

Oh, dear! I just realized that when I commented to say that I like you on FB, I didn't leave my email address. I'm guess that one will get discarded, so I'm going to try again!
