Protective: Sheltering, keeping safe from harm.
God is protective of those who love Him—those He calls His children. He is our strong tower! As I look back over my years of parenting, it is so easy to see His fingerprints in our lives. From surviving a horrific accident to what seemed to be simple life choices, He has been there protecting us each step of the way. Raising a family can certainly provide plenty of examples of His presence in our lives, and I thank Him daily for His protection!
“Because he loves me,” says the LORD, “I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name.” (Psalm 91:14)
