Our First Christmas Giveaway - Fresh Holiday Wreaths!
Today we have a BEAUTIFUL giveaway to help you get ready for Christmas. Our friends at Wreaths of Maine have generously donated TWO of their gorgeous, fresh Blueberry Wreaths! Each wreath is 23" in diameter, made of double-faced Balsam fir, with white and Austrian pine cones, baby's breath, Maine wild blueberries, and a blue bow (retail value, $42).
Wreaths of Maine is a mail order wreath company. It was started in 1992 by a homeschooling family in Greenville,ME. Every autumn hundreds of fund-raising homeschoolers across the U.S. use their sales kits, with their colorful brochure, and take orders for wreaths, earning a commission of $6 for each one. The orders are sent to Maine for processing and then, depending on the date the customer chooses, a fresh, Maine wreath is shipped directly to their door.
These wreaths are made from the aromatic green, balsam fir, known for its “traditional Christmas tree smell.” Each one comes decorated and wrapped in waxy tissue paper to retain it’s freshness, in a box with a bow. The majority (90%) of their wreaths are sold by homeschoolers.
If you would like to order a wreath, visit their website, or if you are interested in selling wreaths, visit their fundraising page.
Love the smell of fresh pine that a gorgeous wreath can add to the season! This would be perfect on my stone chimney in my kitchen! Merry Christmas! morigi1@verizon.net
I have several favorite smells. :) But the way I have always picked a Christmas tree IS the smell! My family always lovingly teases me, as I smell each tree they pick out to see if it has enough smell. lol
I always had fresh trees growing up, but now I'm allergic to the chemicals sprayed on them, so I had to get an artificial tree for inside.I'd love to win this and have that smell every time I open my front door! dgerth @ insight.rr.com
I LOVE the smell of Christmas trees, unfortunately we have an artificial tree, and since we have a bird, I can't burn scented candles anymore, so I just have to enjoy the smell when I walk by the real trees at the grocery store! :) mommyramblings at gmail
My favorite holiday smell is coffee mingling with baking cookies (which thanks to your pinterst post on Twitter, I made that coffee bean candle holder and cheat for the coffee smell now)
My Mom used to make her own wreaths and grave blankets around the holidays and I would help, the smell brings back those memories now! Thanks for the opportunity.
Gorgeous wreath! My favorite holiday scent is goodies being baked or cooked up in the kitchen. Chocolate ranks high! Cinnamon does also. karenr3111@msn.com
There's nothing like the smell of real pine! I'm looking forward to getting information about the sales of these beautiful wreaths. Sounds like a great opportunity for homeschoolers!
I love Christmas because everything smells so good...scented candles, fresh baked breads and cookies, hot apple cider, cinnamon scented pinecones, the christmas tree...hard to pick a favorite!
