Plan Now to Join Us for Week 3 of our Thanksgiving Co-op!

No matter whether you are just joining in the fun, or if you've been along on the
Thanksgiving Co-op adventure for these past two weeks, I hope you'll join us next week for Week 3! Many of us are using the Thanksgiving Unit Study and using the Co-op ideas and encouragement to have an unforgettable Thanksgiving 2013. You can join in the fun on our Facebook page!

We've got two lists of things for Week 3 of the Co-op. One list has the craft things that you'll need if you want to join in our craft projects, and one list has the ingredients that you'll need if you want to join in our food fun. It's up to you, we're just trying to give you a heads-up.

Here’s the craft supply list for Week 3:

Blue poster board 
Green tempera paint
Craft glue
Small scraps of white, yellow or gray paper
Egg carton sections
Toothpicks
A small lump of modeling clay
Small terra cotta pots (1 for each Thanksgiving place setting)
Black chalkboard paint
Chalk
White ribbon
Yellow felt or fabric
Fall leaves (real or artificial - about 6 per child)
Mod Podge

Quart Mason jars or jars you have on hand (1 for each child)
Votive lights (1 for each child)
Ice Cream Waffle Cones
Semisweet Chocolate, Melted

Assorted Fall Candy
Cardstock
18” Grapevine Wreath
Fall themed artificial flower stems (leaves, flowers, etc.)
Fall themed items (i.e. Pumpkins, string of berries)
Wire-edged Ribbon
Lo-temp glue gun and glue sticks
Wire Cutters (If needed to cut artificial flower stems)



And here are some of the food items for Week 3:
Butter
1 10 oz package regular marshmallows
6 cups rice cereal
24 lollipop sticks or wooden ice cream sticks
1 12 oz  semi-sweet chocolate morsels

1 1/3 cups candy corn
48 small white candies (for candy turkey eyes - small white candy sprinkles)
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup whole wheat flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 1/2 cups canned pumpkin puree
1/3 cup olive oil
2 large eggs
2 1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice or cinnamon
1 cup chocolate chips
2 cups Bugles brand corn snacks
2 cups small pretzels
1 cup candy corn
1 cup dried fruit bits or raisins
1 cup peanuts or sunflower seeds
1 cup M&Ms-brand chocolate candy
16 Hershey's-brand chocolate kisses
