I heard about the Amanda Bennett unit studies through other homeschool bloggers. I think the first time I ever heard about it was through Marcy at Ben and Me. I also attended a homeschool conference and listened to a presentation about the products. Thank you for the chance to win!
ReplyDeleteI don't remember - I've been following along via social media for nearly two years!
ReplyDeleteI have used Amanda's unit studies off and on. My children just love doing them. They have lots of fun. Thanks Amanda.

homeschooling magazine years ago
ReplyDeleteI heard about Amanda Bennett at the Homeschool convention when I went to one of her seminars....and love them.
ReplyDeleteI found Amanda Bennet studies online and have been using them ever since! Our very first study was Trains and Oceans. LOVED IT!!!!! Will never use another unit study program again!
ReplyDeleteI don't remember where or when I first heard about Amanda Bennett Unit Studies because it took me a while to actually contact the site. Our ten year old son has autism and it's difficult to find homeschool products he really learns from. We tried one of the Download N Go products and also one that takes a whole month. I was surprised by how well our son actually enjoyed learning about classical composers with the Download N Go unit! Ever since then, we've tried other Download N Go units and it hasn't been too bad. We'll try doing a month long unit again when he's older and maybe we'll have better success with them but for now, I'm very happy with the shorter studies.

It was recommended to me that we should try unit studies. I had no idea what they were and googled unit studies and this was the first link that was on the list. Never got any further than this. We LOVE all that we have tried so far. Thank you for bringing the fun back into learning.
ReplyDeleteI have enjoyed the unit studies we have done and look forward to the ones to come! Thanks for all the fun contests!
ReplyDeleteOops, I meant to add that I heard about it while during searches for unit studies a year or so back.
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure, but probably another homeschool website.
ReplyDeleteI don't remember specifically where, but through another homeschool blog or site is where I heard about you! We are getting ready to do the chocolate challenge next in 2weeks, so this would be perfect for us! :)
ReplyDeleteI discovered this through one of the homeschooling sites I belong to, I immediately purchased the solar system deal you had and my son loved it. Since then I have purchased quite a few other unit studies to compliment our curriculum.
ReplyDeleteI heard about Amanda Bennett through the Australian Homeschool community, bought some Unit studies and never looked back! These studies have been the biggest blessings in my 9yr old son's learning journey and still are!

I do not for the life of me even remember, but I'd guess TOS.
ReplyDeleteI discovered USAB through other homeschooling families in our co-op group. Thanks so much for the chance! :)
ReplyDeleteI learned about Amanda Bennett through my sister :)
ReplyDeleteI googled Unit Studies and had spent a few days "peek"-ing at the DNG downloads and asking moms in my homeschool group if they had tried USAB (none had). Time passed and suddenly a girlfriend of mine (living overseas) shared a sale code on FB. I immediately started asking her how it was going using them and soon after started making purchases.
ReplyDeleteLearned of your site through other homeschool moms. My son has enjoyed the unit studies we have used so far. Thank you for your dedication and hard work
ReplyDeleteI have learned the USAB unit studies from researching unit studies. My kids are pretty close age and I need to have something we could all learn together. The fun of learning together is wonderful.
ReplyDeleteI met Amanda Bennett at a FIAR conference in Olathe, KS about 8 or 9 years. I still remember how kind, wise, and caring she was. I have just started using unit studies again in my homeschool and I looked up her studies right away.
