American as Apple Pie

What could be more American than good 'ole Apple Pie?

Here's a yummy recipe for an All-American favorite, with a crispy crunch topping for a twist.

Ingredients:
1 Pie crust (store bought is okay, homemade if you want "authentic")
4-5 Apples - peeled, cored and sliced
1/2 Cup Sugar
1 Tsp. Cinnamon

Crunch Topping:
1/2 Cup Sugar
1/3 Cup Butter
3/4 Cup Flour

Directions:
Put apple slices into the crust. Sprinkle with a mixture of the sugar and cinnamon.

Crumble together ingredients for Crunch topping. Add to cover apple slices.

Bake at 375 degrees for about an hour until apples are soft and the house smells wonderful.
